ASM Performing Arts was created by professional actors, in 1997, to offer practical workshops on character creation, scene study, audition technique, acting for the camera, voice & movement, dramatic writing and basic film making.

The instructors at ASM Performing Arts are working actors. They have years of experience working in film, television, and theatre, which makes them an excellent resource for our students. They will evaluate your work in an honest, positive, constructive fashion and give you the advice you need to sharpen your natural abilities.

We believe that a great acting program should prepare you for a career in the business. That means teaching you the techniques necessary to excel in performance, and providing you with the tools not only to GET the job, but to DO the work with an excellence that will ensure you a place in the industry as a notable actor. It means providing a safe arena for you to conduct your studies in, where your work can be constructively analysed and fine-tuned for the real world. It means helping you design your own curriculum and getting you up on stage, in studio productions, and films, where you can apply your new skills, strut your stuff, and have some fun.
