Chip trained in performance, directing, and design, under the tutelage of long time Peter Brook collaborator, Henry Woolf, at the University of Saskatchewan. Soon after, Mr. Chuipka co-founded three theatre companies in that province.(Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan and the Saskatoon Soaps are now into their 17th seasons). He also co-founded and produced the Ottawa Shakespeare Festival for three seasons. Chip's Film and Television credits include roles in Richard Attenborough's Grey Owl, Brian de Palma's Snake Eyes, and Euzhan Palcy's Attikka. Featured roles in John Smith's revenge of the Land, Manon Briand's Marilyn Bell Story, & Bruce MacDonald's Platinum. Recurring roles on Emily of New Moon, and Lassie.
