Chip trained in performance, directing, and design, under the tutelage of long time Peter Brook collaborator, Henry Woolf, at the University of Saskatchewan. Soon after, Mr. Chuipka co-founded three theatre companies in that province.(Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan and the Saskatoon Soaps are now into their 17th seasons). He also co-founded and produced the Ottawa Shakespeare Festival for three seasons. Chip has appeared in over 100 stage productions, coast to coast, including:
